Prince Rupert Real Estate
Prince Rupert is a triangular neighborhood, located within the old Hudson Bay company land reserve. In preparation for subdivision, Portage Avenue was paved, and streetcar tracks were laid down, later renamed Kingsway in honor of King George VI's visit in 1939.
For many decades the neighborhood only contained a farm and a golf course. After the WWII housing boom, it was converted to residential uses. Prince Rupert only had one school, Prince Rupert Elementary School, which was shut down 1994-1995.
Near the shopping center Kingsway Mall and the Municipal Airport.
Prince Rupert real estate is bordered North by 118 Avenue, East by Kingsway, South by 111 Avenue, and West by 121 Street.
