Eastwood Real Estate
Eastwood began development starting in 1906 and is one of Edmonton's older neighborhoods dating from after WWII. By 1910, there was a streetcar line running from 95 Street along 118 Avenue, connecting Edmonton to the village of North Edmonton.
Many homes and businesses were built along the street care line and major roads around the WWI time. As the boom slowed, Edmonton's pre-war, many properties were left undeveloped for years. By the 1950's, most of the original development was complete. Today many older structures are being replaced. There are two schools in the neighborhood: Eastwood Elementary School and St. Gerard Catholic Elementary School.
Eastwood is bordered North by 122 Avenue, East by Fort Road, South by 122nd Avenue, and West by 89 Street.
