1. Make the Bed
This is easily one of the simplest ways to make your room look and feel tidy (even if there’s clutter everywhere else). It also makes sleep that much more inviting at the end of a long day.
2. Put Away Your Clothes, Every Time
Speaking of long days, we understand the urge to cast your clothes aside come bedtime (quickly leading to piles of half-washed garments strewn about the room). Instead, take a few extra moments to put your clothes away or in the hamper where they belong.
3. Tidy As You Go
Avoid that weekly mountain of mess by making a point to clean as you go. Wash and stow dishes as you make dinner (and immediately after). Do a quick sweep if you see dust or crumbs on the floor. Rinse the sink after you brush your teeth. Even the littlest things can make a big difference!

Open, sort and discard items immediately when you get home, and see that anything worth keeping gets stored in a designated spot.

Take the time to plan your weekly cleaning tasks in advance. This will allow you to schedule just the right amount of time to accomplish what you need to from day to day and ensure everything gets done.
