Bellevue Real Estate

Bellevue began to develop around 1907, to the west of Edmonton's Northland site.  With the construction of the Capilano Freeway (Wayne Gretzky Drive), the size of the neighbourhood was reduced and is known as one of Edmonton's smaller neighbourhoods at only 50 hectares.

The name is a French reference term for "beautiful view," Bellevue sits on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River with a great view of the river valley and downtown's skyline.

This neighbourhood also hosts two schools, Eastglen High School and Bellevue Elementary School both operated by the Edmonton Public School System.  Bellevue is a short distance from the Commonwealth Stadium, home of the Edmonton Eskimos, and the Stadium LRT station.

Bellevue real estate is bordered North by 118 Avenue, East by 67 Street, South by Ada Boulevard, and West by Wayne Gretzky Drive.
